Your whole screen is recorded while you take the exam. Recordings are stored privately. Use Chrome, Edge or Safari on a laptop or desktop, and keep it plugged in.

What's recorded, and who sees it
  • Your screen is recorded from when you start until you hand in. Only your instructor can watch it.
  • If you leave the exam window, a few still pictures of your screen are taken. An AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) looks at them and points out anything your instructor may want to check. Your instructor watches the moment and makes every decision.
  • Written answers may get a suggested score from the same assistant. Your instructor confirms every grade.
  • Your exam isn't used to train the assistant.
